MIAMI (AP) — Tropical Storm Ophelia is predicted to strengthen to a hurricane because it spins far out over the Atlantic.
The storm’s most sustained winds early Tuesday are close to 50 mph (eighty five kph). The U.S. Nationwide Hurricane Middle says Ophelia is predicted to turn into a hurricane by Wednesday.
The storm is centered about 790 miles (1,270 kilometers) west-southwest of the Azores and is shifting southeast close to three mph (6 kph).
The storm just isn’t at present a menace to any land.
