Woman charged after armed carjacking at East Anchorage gas station


A lady was in custody after she stole a automotive at gunpoint early Thursday at a Vacation fuel station on Muldoon Street, based on a press release from Anchorage police.

At about 2:30 a.m., police say, Lily Pogi, 24, pressured a driver from a white 2011 Toyota Yaris. Police stopped the car lower than 10 minutes later on Meyer Road in Mountain View and took Pogi into custody.

Pogi faces costs of auto theft and theft, police stated. She has a earlier conviction for housebreaking from 2017, based on courtroom data.
