Woman accused of attacking brother with knife, found with meth

A Statesville lady is dealing with fees after police say she is accused of attacking her brother with a knife and was later discovered with methamphetamine.
In accordance with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Workplace, deputies have been referred to as to a house alongside Mason Dixon Lane in Statesville Saturday afternoon to a report of a lady with a knife and a person trying to run somebody over with a car.
Deputies say they arrived and decided that Kristy Nicole Hastings, 26, had tried to assault her brother with a knife. She was arrested and charged with assault with a lethal weapon.
Throughout her arrest, investigators discovered a plastic bag with methamphetamine inside. Additionally they discovered a plastic bag of powder cocaine.
Investigators say the cocaine belonged to twenty-eight-yr-previous Eddie Ming Vang, of Stony Level. Vang was transported to the Iredell County Detention Middle and was charged with possession of cocaine and is being held on a $1,000 bond.
Hastings was charged with assault with a lethal weapon and possession of methamphetamine. She is being held on a $2,500 bond.?
