BRUNSWICK, GA. | Three volunteer occasions are coming in Brunswick to wash up after Irma and different litterers.
At 9 a.m. Saturday, volunteers are wanted at Brunswick’s historic Oak Grove Cemetery to wash up storm particles among the many tombstones. Along with these wanted to select up limbs and twigs, somebody with a chainsaw and all the required security gear can also be wanted, the sponsoring Hold Golden Isles Lovely stated.
Additionally at 9 a.m. Saturday, volunteers are wanted at Sidney Lanier Park beneath the bridge to wash up litter. Hold Golden Isles Lovely is working in partnership with an elementary faculty scholar who needs to movie the cleanup as her entry within the annual PTA artwork contest.
On Monday at 5 p.m., there will probably be a cleanup at Overlook Park on the japanese finish of Gloucester Road in Brunswick. Volunteers might be requested to select up all of the litter and marsh wrack that Tropical Storm Irma dumped within the park.
