Two Jacksonville Sheriff’s Workplace deputies have been injured early Tuesday morning throughout a pursuit for a suspected impaired driver.

In accordance with police, the incident started round three:30 a.m. Tuesday morning on Cleveland Street. Whereas chasing the suspect, police report certainly one of their deputies misplaced management and hit a fireplace hydrant. So as to cease the suspect, deputies then tried PITT maneuver and spike strips.

Police report the suspect misplaced management of the automotive and struck an officer who was deploying spike strips. Each officers have been taken to the hospital.
