WASHINGTON (AP) – Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is praising Mexico’s generosity in providing help because the U.S. responds to Harvey.
Tillerson is assembly with Mexico’s Overseas Relations Secretary Luis Videgaray. He says Mexico has provided a “wide selection” of assist by means of the federal authorities and thru Texas. He says it is “very beneficiant for Mexico to supply to assist on this very, very difficult local weather.”
Mexico’s diplomats have been selling their supply publicly via social media and in public statements, drawing an implicit distinction with President Donald Trump’s extra combative strategy to the U.S. neighbor.
The U.S. hasn’t stated whether or not it is going to settle for or wants the help.
However Videgaray says Mexico is “right here to assist.” He says the 2 nations are neighbors and buddies and provides, “That is what buddies do.”
