LAFAYETTE, Colo. (ABC NEWS) – A instructor accused of assaulting a center faculty scholar who wouldn’t stand for the pledge of allegiance is dealing with legal expenses.
The Angevine Center Faculty PE Instructor Karen Smith has been on paid depart since she was accused of lifting a scholar by his jacket and taking him out of the classroom as a result of he wouldn’t stand in the course of the Pledge of Allegiance.
The district coverage permits for college kids to take a seat or stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.
After working with Lafayette Police, the Boulder DA determined to cost Smith with baby abuse and assault.
Her first courtroom date has not been set.
