The Bryan County Emergency Administration Company has launched the names of two of the victims in a aircraft crash close to the Bryan-Effingham county line Monday.
It occurred on Croft Street, off of Eldora Street. Couple, William Byron Cocke and Catherine Cocke have been killed within the crash. The pilot has not but been recognized pending notification of subsequent of kin.
The dense, wooded space made it troublesome for crews to get to the wreckage. Georgia Forestry needed to reduce a path by way of the timber.
Air Visitors Management misplaced contact with the aircraft with the three aboard – the pilot and two passengers. A Chatham County Mosquito Management plane situated the wreckage.
