Residents find alligator in backyard pool


LITHIA, Fla. (AP) – Some Florida residents woke as much as an uninvited, scaly visitor of their yard swimming pool: a 7- to eight-foot-lengthy (2-meter-lengthy) alligator.

The Tampa Bay Occasions reviews that Hillsborough County deputies responded to the Lithia house Wednesday morning. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Workplace posted an image of the submerged alligator on Twitter, including that the “apprehension of this trespassing suspect ought to be fascinating.”

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Fee trappers arrived a short while later and captured the massive reptile.

No accidents have been reported.
