President Donald Trump is swearing in Marine retired Gen. John Kelly as his new White Home chief of employees.
In an Oval Workplace ceremony, Trump predicts Kelly will do a “spectacular job.”
The president denies there’s “chaos” within the White Home, regardless of a very tumultuous stretch. And he says issues are going “very properly.”
Trump is declining to say simply what Kelly will do in a different way from Reince Preibus, whom Trump ousted as chief of employees late final week.
Kelly beforehand served because the Division of Homeland Safety secretary.
Trump has stated he hopes Kelly can deliver some army order to an administration weighed down by a stalled legislative agenda, infighting amongst West Wing aides and a stack of investigations.
