Prep volleyball: Wins for Dimond, Chugiak, West


Dimond used a robust defensive effort to comb East in Prepare dinner Inlet Convention volleyball motion Tuesday.

Three Lynx racked up double-digit digs and Dimond reeled off eight group blocks to take the win 25-14, 25-9, 25-18.

Dimond was bolstered by Alissa Pili (eight kills, 12 digs), Hahni Johnson (21 assists, 10 digs) and Madde Shockey (2 solo blocks, three block assists).

East was led by Nyanuer Bidit (7 kills), Daisy Web page (thirteen digs) and Morgan Zinn (thirteen digs).

After dropping the primary set, Chugiak got here again to win the subsequent three and defeat Service 21-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-17 in a CIC volleyball match at Service.

Chugiak was paced by Sophia Lestina (18 kills, 26 digs), Sam Harris (7 kills, three blocks) and Malia Mortensen (34 digs).

Autumn Monkelien propelled the Cougars with eleven kills, 12 digs and three aces. Kenzie Bowman added eight kills and three blocks and Megan Matthews offered 20 assists for Service.

The West volleyball group beat South in 5 units Tuesday behind 9 kills and eight blocks from Danika Brown.

The Eagles gained 25-19, 25-sixteen, sixteen-25, 15-25, 15-9 within the match at West.

West’s Jackie Suka added 9 kills and 14 digs and Kesley Ross contributed forty two assists, 10 digs and three aces.

Emilye Grace Williams (22 kills, 6 blocks), Zoey Keene (32 assists) and Makenna Besch (5 blocks) led South.
