Police: Woman sprays man trying to rob her with pepper spray in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Albany Police Division is investigating an armed theft that occurred Monday morning on Sheridan Avenue.

Police say the sufferer informed officers whereas ready for an elevator, an unknown man approached her from behind and knowledgeable her that she was being robbed.

The sufferer, who was carrying a canister of pepper spray, sprayed the person within the face. Police say the person then fled the scene with out acquiring something.

No accidents have been reported within the incident.

The suspect is described as being 5’9″ tall, skinny, and was final seen sporting darkish coloured clothes, a black hat, and a masks over his face.
