Police in Charlotte are in search of a second suspect in a deadly capturing that in late August.
Darius Jordan Perry, 19, is needed in connection to the capturing dying of De’Monte RaShawn Perkins, 22.
The capturing occurred on August 24, on the 5400 block of Windy Valley Drive, close to Hovis and Rozelles Ferry Roads. When officers arrived on the scene they discovered Perkins deceased with a gunshot wound.
One neighbor, Tyrone Cregg, says he was sitting on his porch together with his youngster when he heard the photographs. He says the scene left him unsettled.
“The bullet may need missed him, and are available down and shot me sitting on the porch with my 9-month-previous child,” Cregg stated.
Cregg says he moved his household to the world to get away from crime, solely to finish up with a murder scene simply doorways down.
“You don’t know who’s going to purpose a gun, who’s going to shoot,” he stated.
Different neighbors say the flashing lights and police tape are all too acquainted.
“You reside on this neighborhood… I’ve gotten slightly bit used to it,” Edward Zaremsky stated.
The next Saturday, police arrested and charged 24-yr-previous Jacobe Levone Walker with homicide, tried theft with a harmful weapon and conspiracy to commit theft with a harmful weapon.
This capturing marks Charlotte’s sixtieth murder in 2017.
