Police say guard's shooting of armed suspect justified

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) – Police in North Carolina’s largest metropolis say a personal safety guard did nothing improper when he shot and killed an armed man final week.

The Charlotte Observer reported that Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have decided that the Aug. 23 capturing of 32-yr-previous Julian Anthony Harris was justified.

Police stated Harris was shot after he and one other man entered a sweepstakes enterprise sporting masks, apparently planning to rob it. Investigators stated Harris pointed a handgun at employees members earlier than the safety guard shot him. Harris bumped into the woods behind the enterprise, the place he was discovered lifeless.

The guard’s identify has not been launched.
