Monroe Catholic used objectives from Chase Robinson and Silas Hughes to seize their third straight Division II state hockey championship Saturday.
The Rams scored early within the first interval and late within the third interval to beat Houston 2-zero on the Huge Lake Rec Middle.
Monroe goaltender Jayden Pasillas stopped all 35 of Houston’s photographs to earn the shutout. Rylee Bolinder made 30 saves for the Hawks.
Within the third-place recreation, Owen MacDonald racked up a hat trick and Caleb Graham made forty three saves to steer Tri-Valley to a 6-zero rout of Hutchison.
Tri-Valley scored two objectives in every interval.
Within the recreation for fifth place, Gabe Doty and Jessie Biddle scored two objectives apiece to steer Glennallen-Kenny Lake previous Delta 5-1.
Delta stole the shutout from Glennallen goalie Nikki Friendshuh when Travis Terry scored with thirteen seconds left within the recreation. Friendshuh completed with 22 saves.
