BRUNSWICK, GA. | A Liberty County man suspected of attacking a person on a St. Simons Island sidewalk has surrendered to Glynn County police who have been looking for him on a felony warrant.
Donovan Norris, 28, was strolling within the 200 block of Mallory Road within the pier village space about 2 a.m. Sept 24 when he was attacked,Glynn County Police Sgt. Brian Scott stated.
Norris fell and sustained extreme head accidents and was subsequently transferred to Memorial Well being in Savannah for remedy, Scott stated.
He stays there in critical circumstances, Scott stated.
Witness have stated a person who had been ordered out of a village bar was confronting individuals outdoors when he struck Norris after the 2 exchanged phrases on a sidewalk.
With the help of the general public, police have recognized 26-yr-0ld Tyler Aceto as a suspect and secured an arrest warrant charging him with aggravated battery, a felony, Scott stated.
Aceto surrendered to Glynn County Thursday afternoon, Scott stated.
