Man wanted in connection with stepson's homicide in Iowa arrested in Grand …


He was arrested simply after eight p.m. alongside North Washington Road close to the I-29 interchange.

An off obligation federal agent acknowledged him from an APB that was put out for Randy Miles late Monday night time by the Grand Forks Police Division.

They have been contacted by authorities in Des Moines earlier Monday after Miles’ stepson was discovered with extreme burns final week and died over the weekend.

Authorities in Iowa had suspicions and knowledge that advised Miles could also be hiding in Grand Forks. 

Authorities in Grand Forks confirmed he stayed at a lodge right here and was seen at Cabelas Monday afternoon. 

Miles was taken into custody with out incident.

“He was slightly bit uncooperative, initially he didn’t need to take heed to instructions by officers, as soon as further models and Okay-9 models from each the GFPD and Grand Forks Sheriff’s Division arrived on scene he then did comply and was taken into custody with none incident,” stated Grand Forks police sergeant Andrew Stein. 

It is unclear why Miles got here to Grand Forks.
