Sandy, Ore. — A Heat Springs man is critically injured after he was hit by a car on Freeway 26 close to Sandy. This occurred round 12:35 a.m. on Wednesday.
Oregon State Police say Raphael Caldera was making an attempt to cross the freeway when he was struck by an oncoming car. Caldera was taken to a hospital in Portland with life-threatening accidents.
Police say Caldera was sporting darkish garments on the time of the crash and the freeway shouldn’t be lit by ambient lighting.
The driving force of the car is cooperating with the investigation. Thus far, police haven’t reported any fees within the case.
