Man and his dog escape house fire in Guilderland, home a total loss

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A number of departments responded to a home hearth on Western Turnpike within the City of Guilderland early Monday morning.

Officers say the hearth began round 2:forty five a.m. Monday morning in the lounge of a two-story home at 3770 Western Turnpike.

The Altamont Hearth Chief says when hearth crews arrived, the again of the home was absolutely engulfed and flames have been popping out the entrance door.

No accidents have been reported from the hearth, and the Hearth Chief says the one resident house on the time of the hearth was capable of make it out safely together with his canine and meet hearth crews on the finish of his driveway.

The house was a complete loss.

A number of departments have been referred to as to the scene on account of a lot of points, together with the chilly temperature and the shortage of a close-by water supply.

Officers have but to find out the reason for the hearth.
