CARLISLE, Ark. (AP) — Investigators say a central Arkansas man fatally stabbed his spouse after she modified the TV channel from a soccer recreation he was watching whereas he went outdoors to smoke.
Tony Thomas, fifty eight, of Carlisle, was charged Monday with capital homicide. Investigators stated he admitted killing his spouse, Elke, throughout an argument after she switched the TV channel in November. He’s been jailed because the incident.
“He went outdoors to smoke and upon returning, he found that Elke had modified the channel. He requested concerning the rating and she or he started yelling at him and acquired in his face,” Lonoke County Sheriff’s Detective Anthony Counts wrote in an affidavit.
