Korean War veterans visit D.C. with Leatherstocking Honor Flight

WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWS10) – NYS Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara spent the Saturday in Washington D.C.

He escorted native veterans round our nation’s capital.

Hector and Alice Azzaro each served within the air pressure through the Korean Conflict.

Their flight to D.C. was paid for by the Leatherstocking Honor Flight program.

That program permits veterans to journey to Washington D.C. without charge.
