JSO officer struck by another officer while pursuing carjacking suspect


An officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Workplace was by chance struck by one other officer whereas in pursuit of a carjacking suspect.

Round eight p.m., the officer who was struck, recognized as Eric Megela, was patrolling the world close to W. thirteenth Road and N. Davis Road. JSO stated he observed a car he believed was concerned in an armed carjacking earlier within the day. Megela ran its plates and confirmed it the car from the incident.
