House Ethics panel investigating New York GOP congressman


WASHINGTON (AP) – The Home Ethics Committee says it’s investigating Republican Rep. Chris Collins of New York.

In January, the advocacy group Public Citizen filed a request for an investigation of attainable insider buying and selling. The Home panel stated Monday it wants extra time to assessment a report submitted final month by the Unbiased Workplace of Congressional Ethics.

The advocacy group stated Collins sits on the board of Innate Immuno, an organization that’s experimenting with a drug to deal with a number of sclerosis.
