Obligatory evacuations have been issued for areas close to a one hundred-acre wildfire burning close to Freeway forty nine and Nice Valley Street simply south of North San Juan.
The blaze, referred to as the Nice Hearth, has burned a number of buildings and is threatening others, Cal Hearth stated. As of 5:30 p.m., the flames have been zero % contained.
EVACUATIONS HAVE BEEN ORDERED FOR:
- Ivey Lane and all streets off Hyatt Street
- All roads between Freeway forty nine and Oak Tree Street north of Tyler Foote Street
- Robinson Street, Brotherhood Method, Tobacco Street, New Faculty Street and east to Maidu Ridge Street
An evacuation middle is open at First Baptist Church at 1866 Ridge Street in Grass Valley.
Hwy. forty nine is closed north of Nice Valley Street as a result of the hearth is on each side of the freeway.
