WASHINGTON (AP) – The inspector common on the Environmental Safety Company has opened an inquiry into Administrator Scott Pruitt’s frequent taxpayer-funded journey to his house in Oklahoma.

The workplace notified Pruitt in a letter Monday that it will audit his journey data by means of the top of July. The letter says the inquiry will search to find out the extent and price of Pruitt’s journeys, in addition to his safety staff and aides who travelled with him. The audit may even look at whether or not EPA’s journey insurance policies and procedures have been violated.

The Related Press and different media retailers reported in July that Pruitt’s expense reviews from his first three months in workplace confirmed he traveled to Oklahoma at the very least 10 occasions, sometimes leaving Washington on Fridays and returning Mondays.
