The Duval County Courthouse will stay closed the remainder of the week, a clerk of courts spokesman stated Wednesday.
Chief Circuit Decide Mark Mahon made the choice “because of the continued closure of public faculties, flooding considerations, and the shortage of electrical energy in elements of Duval County,” clerk’s spokesman Brian Corrigan stated by e mail.
The courthouse closed final week as Hurricane Irma approached Florida.
The clerk’s workplace for Clay County stated on its web site that it might be open as ordinary on Thursday.
The clerk’s workplace for Nassau County, in the identical judicial circuit as Duval and Clay, advised its web site guests its workplaces “will proceed to be closed Thursday.”
