Beyoncé pledges to help 'as many' Hurricane Harvey victims as she can


Beyoncé has teamed up together with her BeyGOOD basis to deliver help to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, the singer introduced on Monday night. In a press release to The Houston Chronicle, Beyoncé stated, “My coronary heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I stay in fixed prayer for these affected and for the rescuers who’ve been so courageous and decided to take action a lot to assist. I’m working intently with my staff at BeyGOOD in addition to my pastor (Rudy Rasmus at St. John’s in downtown Houston) to implement a plan to assist as many as we will.”

Created in 2013, the BeyGOOD basis has partnered with international organizations to convey help to communities in want of employment, clothes, counseling, housing, meals, and medical help. In recent times, the inspiration has helped residents of Burundi entry protected consuming water and people affected by the Flint Water Disaster.

Beyoncé’s announcement comes days after Kevin Hart challenged fellow celebrities to contribute to the aid efforts in Houston.

On Monday, The Rock introduced a $25,000 pledge to the Purple Cross. “Keep robust Houston and maintain onto religion,” he wrote on Instagram. DJ Khaled, Nicki Minaj, and Drake have additionally pledged to assist.
