BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) — Residents in Bennington can now ship nameless tricks to police from their smartphone.
Android and iPhone customers can obtain the free “BenningtonCo Sheriff” software and ship recommendations on burglaries, drug exercise and bullying to native regulation enforcement.
Detective Sgt. Lloyd Dean stated Monday the app makes it so there isn’t a approach police can determine who sends the tip. He says individuals who obtain the app may also obtain native police alerts.
