African American women celebrated for military service

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Albany County is recognizing the contributions black ladies have made in army service.

Monday, a panel of girls veterans held a frank dialogue on race within the army.

Three ladies spoke about their service and the discrimination they’ve confronted as ladies and as African People within the army.
