​Homes evacuated after second wildfire breaks out in Tuolumne County


Houses are being evacuated as Cal Hearth battles a one hundred fifty-acre wildfire in Tuolumne County.

The hearth began on Twist Street, south of Algerine Street.

Evacuations are issued for Algerine Street from Wards Ferry to Twist Street and Previous Wards to Richards Ranch Street. Some buildings are threatened close to Hog Mountain Street.

A shelter has been arrange on the Mom Lode Fairgrounds in Sonora. The shelter can take animals.

One other hearth, the Jacksonville hearth, broke out Saturday close to Algerine Street. It’s at present 690 acres and 60 % contained.

No different particulars have been launched.
